Preserving our Monuments - What have I done?

http://edition.cnn.com/2015/10/06/architecture/victoria-lautman-wells/index.html
"There are hundreds of them, just crumbling to dust. My goal is to show people, tell as many people as I can, about these stepwells. People will start asking, 'How do I go see them?' When tourists start coming -- then that's when things will be preserved."
Will teachers talk about Victoria's interest in preserving India's ancient step wells, and ask the students what ARE WE DOING TO PRESERVE COUNTRY'S MONUMENTS?would the local tourists like to visit these places to preserve?
We can make our students to rediscover the country's past just like what Victoria from America is trying to do about country's deep step wells. In the country, deep step wells are just one of the millions of things to rediscover....
Read Mahakavi Bharathys thoughts on the education and how he questions even the style architecture of Universities in the country done in Italian style, while architecture of British Universities are not done in Italian style, but Britain's own style...and He says our Universities/Schools should have that Indian style of architecture even...Wonder what he would say, when he sees many things British now in schools and colleges and even homes and in governance and posts after 100 years of his writing.
