ஆலயத்தைக் கேந்திரமாக வைத்தே - கல்வி, கலாசாரங்களும் வளர்ந்தன

ஆலயங்களையும் ஆண்டவனையும் இப்போது பள்ளி,கல்லூரிக் கல்வியில் தேட வேண்டி இருக்கிறது. மத சார்பற்ற கல்வியின் பயனா எல்லா மதங்களையும் கல்வி சாலையில் இருந்து துரத்தி விட்டோம். இதன் விபரீத பலனை தான் நாம் மாணவர்களின் நடத்தையிலும் மக்களின் போக்கிலும் நன்றாகவே பார்க்க முடிகின்றது. இப்போது ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் செல்வோம்.நம் முன்னோர்களின் வாழ்வில் கல்வி, கலை, ஆண்டவன், ஆலயம், இசை, பண்பாடு இவை எல்லாம் எவ்வாறு சிறப்புற்று விளங்கின என்பதை பார்ப்போம்...அதன் காரணத்தையும் திறந்த மனத்துடன் சற்று சிந்திப்போம்.

ஏறக்குறைய ஆயிரம் வருஷத்துக்கு முந்தி பல்லவ பாண்டியர்களுக்கு மேலாகப் பிற்காலச் சோழர்கள் எனப்படுபவர்களின் ஆதிக்கம் பரவிற்று. விஜயாலயன் என்பவன் இப்படி மறுபடி சோழர்களுக்குப் புது எழுச்சி தந்த பிற்பாடுதான் பராந்தகன், ராஜராஜன், ராஜேந்திரன் முதலானோர் அவன் வம்சத்திலே வந்து சோழ ஸாம்ராஜ்யத்தைப் பரப்பினார்கள். ஸாம்ராஜ்யம் என்று நீள அகலங்களில் அது பெருகியதைவிட அதிலே கலாசாரம் அதி உன்னதமாகப் பரவியதுதான் அதிகப் பெருமை. பல்லவர் காலத்தில் சிறிய அளவிலும், நடுத்தர அளவிலும் மட்டுமே கட்டப்பட்ட ஆலயங்கள் பெரிய அளவில் விஸ்தாரமாக்கப்பட்டது இந்தப் பீரியடில்தான். இதே ஸமயத்தில் கல்வி - கேள்வி, ஸாஹித்யம், ஸங்கீதம், நர்த்தனம் எல்லாமும் வ்ருத்தியாயின. இதிலே அழகு என்னவென்றால் ஆலயம் பாட்டுக்கு ஒரு பக்கத்தில் வ்ருத்தியாச்சு, கலாசாரம் இன்னொரு பக்கத்தில் அதுபாட்டுக்கு வ்ருத்தியாச்சு, என்றில்லாமல் ஆண்டவனை மையமாக வைத்தே - ஸ்தூலமாக ஆலயத்தைக் கேந்திரமாக வைத்தே - கல்வி, கலாசாரங்களும் வளர்ந்தன.

Ramakrishna Vidyashala Mysore - An Example to duplicate

Couple of weeks back I was in this wonderful institution which I have read and heard of. Visiting the school and its infrastructure and meeting students and teachers there, made all the difference of wishing why such institutions can not be duplicated in many other cities by Ramakrishna Mission?

I do not know if there is better institutions run by Ramakrishna Mission, but I felt this one with fully residential school with sports including swimming and other music/bhajans and meditation/etc makes it to look upon as the modern Gurukula system.

It would be much better if all teachers are also residential and live with students within the same campus. I even went in one of the class where the shelf was neatly arranged with students notebooks and workbooks. I was there after the school hours and none was there to see that I am seeing their class room. Class room was very neat and clean. Board wiped out and clean.

The whole campus was an inspiration which makes one to think of only learning skills...be it in sports or music and even helping in kitchen or serving food to fellow students or guests... Everyone washing their own plates and eating after saying the prayers...and a regular time to sleep and wake up. Later I listened to one proud alumnus of this great institution who said what he is today is because of this institution. He is the honorary secretary of Seshadri Puram group of educational institutions in Bangalore. Wish we have many people coming forward to have such wonderful institution duplicated in other cities for the benefit of society.

Three language usage best example

Sometime back I was in Mysore Ramakrishna Vidyashala. A great institution of national importance.I will write about it in a separate blog..Many things learned there. One of the thing that captured my attention was how they used 3 languages. See it here...First Kannada(local language), second Hindi(National language) and Third English(International Language). All the fonts are of same size.

From Mysore, I visited Bangalore there used their recently opened Metro and saw a small change in the language usage there...The order was Kannada, English and Hindi, but the font size same...See below

And look at Chennai Metro..How ugly the language usage is seen with the font size and order? Shame on us Tamils.

சாதியை சீண்டிய சினிமா

ஒரே கதையை பல முறை சினிமாவில் சொன்ன பெருமை எந்த கதை என்றால், பலரின் பதில் 'நந்தனார்'. நந்தனார் என்றும் திரு நாளை போவார் என்றும் அழைக்கப் பட்ட சிறந்த சிவ பக்தர்.

நந்தனாரை சாதிக் கொடுமைக்கு உதாரணமாக மக்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் எடுத்து சென்ற பெருமை சினிமாவுக்கு உண்டு. ஆனால் இந்த சினிமா ஏன்தான் தீயில் தன்னையே அர்ப்பணித்த ஒரு சிறந்த அரசன், சிவ பக்தன் மற்றும் சிறந்த வீரன் புகழ் சோழ நாயனாரை கண்டுகொள்ள வில்லையோ?

சதி(உடன் கட்டை ஏறுதல் என்றும் சொல்வர்),சாதி பேசும் மக்களுக்கு புகழ் சோழ நாயனார் ஏன் தன்னை தீயில் அர்ப்பணித்தார் என்று தெரிய வேண்டுமா? உண்மையில் சினிமா மக்களுக்கு நல்லது செய்ய வேண்டும் என்றால் புகழ் சோழ நாயனார் போன்றவர்களின் புகழை உலகம் அறிய செய்ய வேண்டும்.

ஆனால் வாஸ்தவத்தில் அறுபத்து மூவர் சரித்திரங்களுக்கு அதாரிட்டியான பெரிய புராணத்தில் வருகிற நந்தனார் கதையில் அந்த வேதியல் பாத்திரமே கிடையாது. பெரிய புராணத்தில் திருநாளைப் போவார் நாயனார் புராணம் என்ற தலைப்பில் வருகிற நந்தனாருடைய கதையைப் பார்த்தாலே தெரியும்....

Today along with SEVAS volunteers was able to do ஆதிபுரீஸ்வரர் சிந்தாதிரிப்பேட்டை உழவாரம்... This is for second time doing it, as we did few years back in this very same temple. Heard its more than 800 years old..The Vishnu Temple...While Sivan temple did not find out when it was built. Wish that Media takes up the responsibility of their own contribution to Swachh Bharath by reporting on these works...in every issue of their publication if Print Media. While TV media could report on these news weekly basis...It must be their contribution to Swachh Bharath...Each one in media can ask themselves what has been their contribution on a regular basis.

Navodaya Schools wanted in Tamil Nadu

நவோதயா வித்யாலயா பள்ளிகள் தமிழ் நாட்டில் வேண்டும். அனைத்தும்(உணவில் இருந்து, உறங்கும் இடம்வரை என்னவெல்லாம் ஒரு மாணவனுக்கு தேவையோ) இலவசமாக கொடுக்கும் நவோதயா பள்ளிகளை வேண்டாம் என்று சொல்ல யாருக்கு என்ன உரிமை இருக்கு. இந்தியாவில் உள்ள அனைத்து மாநிலங்களிலும் இப்பள்ளிகள் மூலம் பல திறமையான கிராமப்புற மாணவர்கள் பயன் அடைந்துள்ளார்கள். ஆனால் தமிழ் நாட்டில் இந்தப் பயனை மாணவர்கள் பயன் பெற மொழி வெறியர்கள் தடை செய்கிறார்கள். தமிழ் நாட்டு மாணவர்கள் தான் 'நவோதயா வித்யாலயா பள்ளிகள் தமிழ் நாட்டில் வேண்டும்' என்று குரல் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தில் நல்லெண்ணம் கொண்ட அனைவரும் இதற்கு ஆதரவு அளிக்க முன் வர வேண்டும்.இல்லையேல் மாணவர்களின் உரிமையை நாம் பறித்தது போல் ஆகும்.(மற்ற மாநிலங்களில் உள்ள மாணவர்களுக்கு கிடைக்கும் உரிமையை தமிழ் நாட்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு கிடைக்காமல் செய்வது உரிமை பறிப்பு செயல் தானே?). எனவே இனிமேலும் இவ்வாறு தமிழ் நாட்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு கிடைக்க வேண்டிய நல்லதொரு முற்றும் இலவச நல்லதொரு கல்வியை கொடுக்க எல்லோரும் பாடு படுவோம்.

மொழி முழக்கம் செய்பவர்கள் பாரதியாரை உதாரணமாக கொண்டு எல்லா மொழிகளையும் கற்க வேண்டமா? அவர்களால் முடியவில்லை என்றால் வளரும் மாணவர்களையாவது கற்க விட வேண்டும். மாணவர்கள் விழிப்போடு இருந்து சிறந்த நவோதயாப் பள்ளியை தமிழ் நாட்டில் கொண்டு வந்து பயனடைய வேண்டும்.

ஏழ்மையில் பள்ளிக்கு சென்று இன்று வெற்றிக்களிப்புடன் வளர்ந்த மனிதர்கள் இந்த நவோதயா பள்ளிகளுக்கு குரல் கொடுத்து தமிழ் நாட்டுக்கு இப்பள்ளிகளை கொண்டு வர உதவ வேண்டும். மேடைகளில் நவோதயாப் பள்ளிகளின் பயன்களை மேடைகளிலும் ஊடகங்களிலும் சொல்லி மக்களையும் மாணவர்களையும் நவோதயப் பள்ளிகள் தமிழ் நாட்டுக்கு வேண்டும் என்று முழக்கம் செய்து பள்ளிகளையும் கொண்டு வர வேண்டும்.

Sometime back I met a CBSE official who told me,'What a shame you Tamil people miss all freely given in Navodaya schools, everything free and you want to miss it..Shame'...Truly I did not show my ignorance on what is Navodaya school or why we are missing it...Now I did a search to find a bit about them and am really ashamed and angry against those Tamil fanatics who are bent on poisoning younger generations against Hindi...which is a national language..

Not even a debate or discussions on these topics in our Media...and neither Schools talk about all these...nor any educationists in the State of Tamil Nadu discuss...தமிழன் என்று சொல்லவே கேவலமா இருக்கு...சிறந்த ஒரு தேசிய இலவசக் கல்வியை எல்லா மாணவர்களுக்கும் கிடைக்க வழி செய்ய முடியாத சினிமா மயக்கத்தில் மயங்கி இருக்கும் ஒரு இனமா தமிழ் இனத்தை பார்க்க வேண்டியிருக்கு.

To me, this must be taken up as Human Rights or Citizen Rights violation by TN Govt for not providing students what is available in other states of the country...But our children are taught on Human rights on Drinking/Driving/Dressing and what not? This is a clear case of violation of rights of students.

திருவெறும்பூர் எறும்பீஸ்வரர் ஆலயம்

திருச்சி அருகாமையில் இருக்கும் எறும்பீஸ்வரர் ஆலயம் திருவெறும்பூர் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது...2016ல் அங்கு சென்ற போது இந்த புகைப் படங்களை எடுக்க முடிந்தது.
