Supreme Court on Value Education

Now look what Supreme Court says on making value education(they call it moral 'science' true to their loyalty to English education) http://www.thehindu.com/news/cant-order-moral-science-in-curriculum-sc/article8894338.ece " ‘It is not up to the court to decide how, and in what form, moral education should be imparted’ '

If the Supreme Court is sincere they can maintain this BUT make Value Education Mandatory asking Schools including parents to decide how it must be implemented, as they themselves say, 'there can be no dispute about the need of providing value-based education'...Without mentioning this, simply dismissing shows the ulterior motives of SC which an 8B boy says it out.

So this is from the so called spiritual guru for millions..classic case of Blind leading the blind... Now the Supreme Court saying on Value Education(or Moral Science as they wish to call it) tops it all....

In one of the class, I mentioned about Supreme Court's decision, why Supreme Court will not make it mandatory. I again ask, what happens when society IMPROVES ITS VALUES?I pause and wait, immediately one boy from 8B says,'Sir, They(Supreme Court staff) will lose their jobs'. When people have values, less crimes and no jobs for lawyers and judges...Right...So much so in the country which produced the greatest number of sages or saints in the world.

சில நாட்களுக்கு முன் தென் தமிழகத்தில் ஒரு பள்ளி மாணவி தலை விரி கோலமாக சென்று கொண்டிருப்பதைப் பார்த்த ஒரு கிராமத்துப் பெண் அம்மாணவியிடம் ஏன் இவ்வாறு பள்ளி செல்கிறாய் என்று கேட்டார்....அந்த மாணவி எதோ சொல்லி பள்ளிக்குச் சென்று முடிந்து கொள்வேன் என்று கூறி சென்று விட்டாள். அந்தப் பெண்ணிடம்,'நான் ஒரு பள்ளி ஆசிரியர் என்னுடன் வேலை செய்யும் சில ஆசிரியைகள் இவ்வாறு தலைவிரி கோலத்துடன் பள்ளி வருகிறார்கள்', என்று நாணம் இல்லா 'நாகரீகம் என்று' நாளைய தலைமுறைக்கு நாணமில்லாமல் வழி காட்டும் ஆசிரியைகளின் நிலையை கூறினேன்.

What I recall from that afternoon is the way MS paid attention to the smallest action, whether it was serving us the refreshment or conversing with us. There was nothing artificial about it. That sense of complete openness and the ability to listen is perhaps an inherent quality that had been nurtured by her after years of practice and devotion to her art form. Truly wonderful lines...But HOW IS THAT the smallest task of adding a KUMKUM to IMAGE of singer got missed, who could actually be MS or thats whom one thinks of reading the article...Its not only you but I have been observing systematically Hindu Women are encourage NOT TO HAVE KUMKUM and our English educated women HAPPILY ABANDONED this kumkum for which they once fought even when their husband died(claiming it as their birth right as they keep it from childhood). But the trend now in all media/advertisements to abandon...in the name of SECULAR IMAGE...Accept all religions images and then say secular NOT REJECTING HINDU images and injecting English secularism to readers and viewers.

Though you say,"There was nothing artificial about it.", I see every possible artificiality in NOT PUTTING A KUMKUM in the image of the singer to please English educated secular readers.... who are also happily abandoning Kumkum

When ARR was invited to perform for a former CM's birthday bash in UP last year I was wondering how musicians go and earn money singing for such indulging politicians...But then such performances show that their valueless music....and such people are going to pay tribute to the divine musician shows where our musicians and people who call themselves paying respect to Musicians stand in present society.... Central Govt can come up with an award for young musicians in Indian classical every year and help them come up well by giving them lot of financial incentives and many stages to perform. 'What a glorious tribute was paid by Andhra Governor during a function held in Mumbai Shanmugananda Hall for MS Subbulakshmi, calling her She is not merely Bharath Rathna but Loka Rathna.' Her UN recital song Maithreem Bhajatha composed by Kanchi Jagatguru could be made mandatory song in every school's assembly after the school's prayer song.
